   On Spiritual Aware-ness

"Like almost everyone else, said a man to a teacher, I do not know what it means to be spiritual. Everything I try is either artificial or impossible.

Said the teacher, To be truly spiritual means to be aware of what you are doing at the moment you are doing it. It means to feel yourself in action at the precise second of that action.

But is this awareness possible for me?
You could have been aware of yourself asking that question.

Artificiality is a result of unawareness, unconsciousness; so expanding
aware- ness leads to genuine spirituality."
